There is an injury update on Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver Chris Godwin. However, it a disheartening one for the Bucs fans.

Bucs veterans report to camp Tuesday with the first workout scheduled Wednesday morning. Godwin, 29, will work with trainers rehabbing the injury he sustained in Week 7 last season against the Ravens.

Wirfs signed a five-year, $140.6 million extension last August. Godwin, meanwhile, finished the 2024 season on injured reserve due to ankle surgery.

He suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 7, and Godwin averaged 19.7 PPR points per game, which was second only to Ja'Marr Chase (23.7).
