Hoover will provide Chopper’s voice and the face capture for the CG-animated character, who in One Piece lore is the ship’s doctor and a senior officer of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

Overall, Season 2 of One Piece presents a major challenge. In addition to introducing Chopper, it will also feature Giants and an array of diverse landscapes.

Even though fans have now seen Chopper, we’ll all still be waiting for some time to see him arrive on Netflix proper as One Piece’s second season has been confirmed for 2026.

Chopper was introduced in the One Piece manga’s 134th chapter (volume 15, issued in 2000). He first appeared in 2001 in Episode 81 of the One Piece anime, which launched in 1999.

While Netflix's live-action One Piece hasn't been renewed yet, fans are already speculating on what fan-favorite Chopper could look like in potential future seasons.
