The Healing Appalachia festival, which focuses on recovery as well as music, is moving to Kentucky. Chris Stapleton is joining mainstay Tyler Childers.

Healing Appalachia has been held in West Virginia over the last five years, but this year’s festival will be held at the Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Ky. on Sept. 19-20.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 3-5 at Radians Amphitheater at the Memphis Botanic Garden, the festival's home since 2021. Launched in 2017, Mempho previously was staged at Shelby Farms Park.
