The 4-year-old child was shot in the back and killed. An 18-year-old was killed, too. And another teenager, 17, was injured but survived.

Wardell Lewis, a neighbor who heard the shooting and tried to help the victims, said the scene continues to haunt him. “That child died looking at me. I got to live with that,” Lewis said.
