GM initiated the CSP on June 24 th, 2025, and stipulates a complete rear axle replacement to correct the issue. It’s currently unclear how many units may be affected by this issue.

The fix: dealers are instructed to inspect and, if necessary replace and tighten the rear axle U-bolt nuts. These repairs will be performed at no cost to the vehicle owner.
