Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is one of Colorado’s last hidden gems. The national park sits outside Montrose, Colorado in the lesser-known southwestern corner of the state.

At Mile 0 of the Grand Canyon, the river is running at around 7,000 cubic feet per second, rising toward 9,000 — not the lowest flows on record, but far from the highest.
