Nvidia's latest Game Ready driver added support for the GeForce GTX 1650 and new mobile GPUs, but also caused CPU spikes in some systems. A new hotfix corrects the issue.
Neowin reports that the affected GeForce driver version, 531.18, now has a hotfix (531.26), and it cures two issues including the gremlin that was eating CPU resources.
