Officers responded to the amusement park about 10 p.m. for a disturbance “within a crowd of several hundred park guests,” James City County police spokesman Tayleb Brooks said.

This latest incident marks the second fight at the theme park in September 2024. Earlier in the month, an altercation broke out during the amusement park's opening weekend for Howl-O-Scream.

Busch Gardens is not the first amusement park in Virginia to create a chaperone policy for juveniles. Kings Dominion implemented a nearly identical policy in April 2023 for guests 15 and younger.
