LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- As many as 20 people were injured, including at least one child, after a bus hit train tracks and overturned in the Lancaster area Wednesday morning.
As many as 20 people were injured on July 2 after a bus overturned north of Lancaster. The crash happened around 11:25 a.m. near the intersection of Sierra Highway and West Avenue C, officials said.
A bus carrying as many as 40 passengers overturned in Lancaster on Wednesday morning, July 2, leaving one person in critical condition and a total of about 20 people hospitalized, authorities said.
Lane restrictions and rolling stops are planned along Route 222 near Route 30 Thursday night through Saturday morning as part of the $72 million Route 30/222 Interchange Improvement Project.
