ISTANBUL (AP) — Rescuers pulled the bodies of a 23-year-old woman and a man believed to be her husband from under a collapsed apartment building in central Turkey on Saturday, state-run media said.

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — A search and rescue operation was underway in central Turkey on Friday after a four-story building collapsed, trapping at least five people inside, officials said.

The building houses the Turkish Consulate, and Mr. Erdogan and other Turkish officials hold diplomatic meetings there, including on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly this week.
