All of Brooklyn Bridge Park will close at 3:30 p.m. on July 4 and reopen for those with a NYC-issued fireworks viewing ticket at 6:30 p.m.

Despite being told by police that the Brooklyn Bridge Park piers were full, those who managed to get onto Pier 5 found it almost empty, 10 minutes before the Fourth of July fireworks.

Brooklyn Bridge Park has unveiled its 2025 Summer Programming Calendar, featuring over 50 free and low-cost events from May through October that bring arts, culture, fitness, film, and family fun.
