Seven blue marlins, one white marlin and a sailfish were hooked up and released during the Big Rock’s version of a “rock-n-roll party.” Gusty winds and rough seas made fishing conditions tough.

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WITN) - No blue marlins were boated as fishing has officially ended on this third day of the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. There were 218 boats out fishing today out of 302.

NewsChannel 7 is told that conditions are now very good, and the fishing is good as well. Wynsong out of Destin and Jolene out of Sandestin are the two crews who have boated a Blue Marlin so far.
