Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard has been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis, also known as a blood clot, in his right calf that will sideline him indefinitely, the team announced Tuesday.

Milwaukee has announced the indefinite absence of Damian Lillard due to a deep vein thrombosis (blood clot) in his right leg.

The 34-year-old was placed on blood-thinning medication and will receive regular testing. "It's unfortunate that something outside of my control would come up," Lillard told NBA insider Chris Haynes.
