Last Sunday, Oct. 20, was the last Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church on Old York Road in Baltimore. My grandmother attended Blessed Sacrament and was buried from this church.

A quarter of a century ago, on Dec. 19, 1999, the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama, was officially opened and consecrated.
