Blackwater Falls State Park is one of the most photographed spots in West Virginia. Located in Davis, W.Va., the park includes several accommodations, such as Blackwater Lodge, cabins and campground.

GETTING THERE: Blackwater Falls State Park is near the town of Davis, about 250 miles southeast of Columbus. The drive via U.S.33 and U.S.50 takes a little more than five hours.

Blackwater Falls with its distinctive amber-colored waters is the main attraction in its namesake state park outside Davis in Tucker County, in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains.
