The Black Bolt and White Flare sets will each feature more than 170 cards. Black Bolt will have more than 65 Illustration Rares, and White Flare will have 70.

Pokemon Black and White are often held in high-regard among fans of the Pokemon franchise. The fifth Pokemon generation introduced several fan favorites, including Zorua, Hydreigon, and Chandelure.

Both will launch July 18, 2025, and are supported by a range of products that revolve around the Unova region seen in the Black & White video games (alongside Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC).
