WASHINGTON — House Republicans subpoenaed nearly a dozen former federal officials and politicians — including Bill and Hillary Clinton — as well as records from the Department of Justice on Tuesday amid an expanding probe into the deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The president has tried to end the Epstein files controversy, but a committee has now subpoenaed the Clintons and others about the disgraced late financier.

An oversight committee in the U.S. House of Representatives demands comprehensive access to files regarding the Epstein scandal. Among those subpoenaed are former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary.
