Adjoining Saguaro National Park's Tucson Mountain District, Tucson Mountain Park features 20,000 acres of preserved land. In fact, it's one of the largest protected areas managed by a city.

Located about 30 miles southeast of downtown Tucson in Vail, Arizona, Colossal Cave Mountain Park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cave tours are offered from 10 a.m. to 2 or 3 p.m. daily.
