The discount department store chain, Burlington has purchased a former Big Lots Store in Pennsylvania. Discount retailer Big Lots filed for bankruptcy in September and closed hundreds of stores.

The Big Lots in Ephrata will be reopened by a new owner who bought some of the discount stores out of bankruptcy.
