I tried the mechanical keyboard thing for years and thought I was happy, but switched to a very quiet scissor switch keyboard during the COVID WFH and never looked back.

Doesn't seem useful enough for it's own button though if you needed 2 Switch 2.🤷‍♂️ "Cast" would be a great addition but then Nintendo couldn't sell extra $99 Switch 2 docks.

Scissor switches generally have shorter travel than non-scissor-switch membrane keyboards that use rubber domes (typically around 1 mm–2.5 mm, though I've seen some with slightly more travel).
