The Belton Missouri Police Department said it received a report of a road rage incident on southbound I-49 on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The report included a man pointing a gun at another driver.

The city said it expected the road to reopen “as soon as the wire can be fixed, hopefully, within 2-3 hours.” If you are driving through the area, please take an alternative route.
