The new courts will be the village’s first outdoor courts, as pickleball is currently offered indoors in the main gym. “The indoor program is very popular,” village manager Paul Volpe said.

The town has eight existing outdoor courts at Main Park, 300 Locust St., in downtown Windsor. Those courts are open to the public and are free for drop-in use from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Slidell pickleball players, the courts are ready. The City of Slidell recently opened 12 new outdoor pickleball courts at John Slidell Park, and the games are already underway.
