Mar. 19—ROCHESTER — Updates for the Bear Creek Park playground will be the subject of a pair of open house events being held by Rochester Parks and Recreation next week.
From breaking ground on new playgrounds to restoring an eroding creek, there is lots being done to make nature more accessible on the Peninsula in the year to come.
The grass at Bear Creek Park is being kept manageable largely due to a goat herd from Goat Green, LLC, and has been ever since the owner, Lani Malmberg, first brought the goats to the park in 1999.
