In 2002, they arrived in Rehoboth to start Confectionary Designs by Mark Soliday — strictly wedding cakes, so Mark could take the teaching position at Johnson & Wales.

This cake was going to be for that show, but since I didn’t manage to finish it in time I decided to enter it for The Wedding Expo Cake Challenge.
