By Bay City News. The city of Sunnyvale has picked Daniel Pistor as the next Chief of the Department of Public Safety, and his appointment will take effect Sunday, according to city officials.

A new report by the Bay Area Council Economic Institute points to a deeper problem: Oakland's public safety issues are directly tied to its ongoing budget crisis.

Bay City Department of Public Safety Director Caleb Rowell said Flock cameras are nothing new to mid-Michigan. “We’re actually late to the game,” Rowell said.
