An EastEnders icon has landed a new role 18 after leaving the popular BBC soap opera. Shaun Williamson, who played the role of Barry Evans, will join the Channel 5 gameshow Celebrity Puzzling.

EastEnders legend Shaun Williamson has bagged a new TV gig 18 years after being killed off as Barry. Soap fans may remember Shaun as Barry Evans who first appeared on the show back in 1994.
