ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — State lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow school districts to opt out of New York's zero-emission school bus mandate, citing concerns over costs and feasibility.

After three years of endless school bus woes, only three buses were late on the first day of school in Albany. The district added 25 buses to improve service.
