Alaska Airlines confirmed this week that it is slated to introduce its first transatlantic service next spring when it launches a route between Seattle and Rome’s Fiumicino Airport.
Alaska Airlines also operates the route directly using its Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 9 aircraft. Hawaiian Airlines markets this 70-minute hop as part of the codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines.
Alaska Airlines is bringing back a route connecting Portland, Oregon, and Atlanta, as well as introducing new routes to popular spots out west from Los Angeles.
