Alaska Airlines’ flight to Tokyo took off from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) Monday, becoming the first direct flight to Japan for the airline in Seattle.
Alaska Airlines Group has a new direct flight connecting Seattle (SEA) and Tokyo (NRT). The 10.5-hour flight departs Seattle at 1:30 p.m. and arrives in Tokyo the next day at 4 p.m.
Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines officially launched Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) as a global international gateway following their merger, with nonstop service to Tokyo.
