The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to a number of traffic crashes and boating incidents over the 2025 4th of July holiday weekend, according to data released Thursday.

Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Alabama troopers. The crash occurred at around 1:30 p.m. on Alabama Highway 39 near the 15-mile marker, about 14 miles southwest of Eutaw.
