Back in March, an ESPN report shed some light on the Giants' quarterback situation ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. It was suggested that the Giants could be in a small market of teams waiting for Aaron Rodgers to make a decision, following his departure from the New York Jets.

Before quarterback Matthew Stafford left some money on the table and worked out an agreement to remain with the Los Angeles Rams through the 2025 season, stories suggested Los Angeles could trade Stafford and then sign Aaron Rodgers to serve as its short-term starter.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were looking at two other quarterbacks before they decided to pursue Aaron Rodgers, per a ESPN report.

Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers brought in quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to help get the passing offense on track. Both players had their moments as the starter but in the end, neither stuck around after the season.
