“ The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon ” has been renewed for a fourth and final season, it was announced during the show’s San Diego Comic Con panel on Friday. Production on the eight-episode Season 4 will begin this month in Spain. It will film in and around Madrid in locations like Bilbao, Galicia, Andalucía, the Segovia region, Toledo and more.

Daryl Dixon will return for a fourth season, but it will also be the last. While Daryl’s next chapter will take him to Spain, this will mark the end of this particular spinoff story… at least for now.
