Ford changed the game after introducing the E-Transit in 2020, the all-electric version of its best-selling van. After debuting in 2022, the E-Transit has held the top-selling EV van title ever since.
Meanwhile, Ford sold 12,610 units of the E-Transit, one of the longest-standing electric vans on the American market. That’s a 64% increase over 2023, so it's still very impressive.
But Ford Pro has kept the price of the Chassis Cab ($46,495) and Cutaway ($45,995) E-Transits the same as the smaller-battery vans. The cargo van has gone up $1,500 to $51,490, however.
The 2024 Ford E-Transit gets a larger battery pack affording more range, among other changes. The E-Transit now has 89 kwh of usable capacity, compared to the previous 68 kwh for all E-Transits.
