When players buy V-Bucks, Epic will list both the mobile marketplace price and its direct payment price. Buying on Apple’s App Store or Google Play will continue to cost $10 for 1,000 V-Bucks.
The free V-bucks also don't scale with the original purchases, meaning players who bought one loot box and players who bought 100 loot boxes will both get the same reward of 1000 V-Bucks.
This means that if you want to buy the lowest amount of V-Bucks possible which is 1,000 V-Bucks, you’ll now pay $7.99 instead of $9.99 with the same discount applied across different increments.
Earlier this summer, for example, Epic issued 15 Battle Stars and 1,000 V-Bucks to players who were impacted by various mobile issues that had hit its iOS app.
