Zach Hyman sported a brace on his right arm after undergoing surgery to repair the damage caused by a hit from Dallas’ Mason Marchment in Game 4 of the Western Conference final.

Hyman suffered a season-ending injury in the West Finals against the Dallas Stars and had surgery the next day. That being said, he’s there to support his team, and Hyman revealed to the media before the series opener that McDavid was the first one to console him following the injury.

When the Edmonton Oilers won the Western Conference championship in Dallas, star center Leon Draisaitl took out his phone to FaceTime a friend: teammate Zach Hyman, who had suffered a season-ending wrist injury earlier in the series.
