Utility player Weston Wilson was not playing much for the Phillies. He was sent down to the IronPigs to play every day and regain his timing.

The Philadelphia Phillies announced they have sent down Weston Wilson to Triple-A, and called up fan favorite Buddy Kennedy, along with placing Aaron Nola on the 60-day injured list.

Millville’s own Buddy Kennedy is back up with the Phillies. The Phillies selected the infielder’s contract on Thursday, recalling him from triple-A Lehigh Valley. Weston Wilson, who had a .194 batting average in 22 games with the Phillies this season,
