The West Suburban 12U softball team is one step closer to winning the Little League Softball World Series. The Mid-Atlantic champion advanced to the quarterfinals with a 9-0 win over the West region champion.

Johnstown's West Suburban 12U Girls Softball Team has won the first round of the Little League World Series with a 2-1 walk-off victory over the previously undefeated New England Champions for Guilford,

Overall, the 12 teams will compete in a modified double-elimination format until the championship games, which are single elimination. The games will be shown on ESPN+, ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC.
