Dozens of people have been killed after a sudden thunderstorm capsized a tourist boat in Vietnam. At least 34 people died after the sightseeing vessel was turned upside down by strong winds during a tour of Ha Long Bay on Saturday, state media reported.

Some survived by clinging to wreckage while others swam at least six hours to the nearest island, authorities say.
