A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect in the far NW until Sunday evening. The storms are moving NE at 50mph with 60 mph gusts. Damaging winds are possible. FOX 5 meteorologist Jennifer Delgado has the latest forecast.

"The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 3 a.m. for southeastern and east central Alabama," according to the National Weather Service.

An updated severe thunderstorm watch was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 4:58 p.m. in effect until 7 p.m. for Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties.

On Sunday at 3:50 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 4:45 p.m. for Cayuga, Seneca and Tompkins counties.
