AUSTIN, Texas — AUSTIN – Some lucky person in San Antonio now has two million more reasons to be happy after winning big in the Powerball drawing from March 15. The winning ticket was purchased at Quiktrip located at 848 Hot Wells Boulevard, in San Antonio and is worth a whopping $2 million dollars.

The ticket matched five winning numbers and the Power Play, but not the Powerball, in Saturday's drawing, according to the Texas Lottery.

No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Saturday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery. Two tickets, worth $1 million each, were sold in Massachusetts and Texas, matching five numbers but not the Powerball.

Three lucky Powerball players in Texas won thousands after narrowly missing the $353 million jackpot, lottery officials said. The winning tickets matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball, in the drawing Wednesday, March 12, according to the Texas Lottery.

More than 715,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said. The Powerball jackpot was last won Jan. 18, when an Oregon player hit the $329 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
