A water advisory for the City of Port Angeles was lifted Sunday evening after a tanker truck rolled into a nearby creek.

The advisory was the response to a Friday fuel tanker crash at Indian Creek Basin. The creek feeds into Elwha River, the city’s main potable water source.

Access to water is being temporarily restricted to some people in the Port Angeles area after a Petro fuel tanker overturned and spilled into Indian Creek.
