Veteran point guard Spencer Dinwiddie's second stint with the Dallas Mavericks came to an end after just one year.

Can confirm that #Mavs free agent Spencer Dinwiddie has agreed to a one-year deal with the #Hornets. Dallas signed Dinwiddie as an emergency PG option last season and played a team-high 79 games, averaging 11 PPG and 4.4 APG.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Hornets have come to term with veteran guard Spencer Dinwiddie who most recently suited up for the Dallas Mavericks. In 79 games with the Mavericks in 2024-25, Dinwiddie averaged 11 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game.
