Authorities in Australia have said Erin Patterson attempted to poison her husband on multiple occasions before serving a deadly mushroom meal that killed three people.

The estranged husband of a woman convicted of killing three people​ with a meal laced with deadly mushrooms suspected his wife had been poisoning him before the fatal meal, an Australian court has heard.

An Australian woman who murdered three of her in-laws with a meal of toxic mushrooms also allegedly tried to murder her husband using poisoned pasta, a chicken curry and a sandwich wrap, evidence showed on Friday after a judge allowed its disclosure.
