The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has welcomed the latest addition to the zoo, a baby Western Lowland Gorilla born to Asha and Goma. The first gorilla baby in over a decade.

The zoo's website said she was born in 1993, making her 31 or 32 years old. She came to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in 1994 with her sister, Honey, who passed away in 2022.
