Hostel TV series, from writer, director, and executive producer Eli Roth and featuring Billions actor Paul Giamatti, has found a home for streaming. If the show does get made, it will be the latest entry in the Hostel franchise.

Maybe this will help move the needle for Peacock’s stagnating subscriber base? The streamer has picked up Eli Roth’s Hostel series, a television adaptation of the horror director’s gruesome “tortured abroad” franchise. Paul Giamatti, first announced as attached to the project over a year ago, will star in the show in an undisclosed role.

Eli Roth's 2005 horror film Hostel is in development, where Roth will return to direct and co-write the series with Chris Briggs, who worked on the first film.
