Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park that is often overshadowed by its bigger brother in Orlando. However, USH is getting ready to make a huge statement with a brand new roller coaster based on a franchise that has needed its own roller coaster for decades.

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be the first high-speed outdoor coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood. The park’s two existing coasters include the 2004 Revenge of the Mummy indoor coaster and the 2016 Flight of the Hippogriff outdoor kiddie coaster.

Universal Studios Hollywood plans to capture that speedy spirit in its upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift rollercoaster, which, when completed, will be the fastest ride in the Universal Parks portfolio at an impressive 72 miles per hour.
