Rhian Wilkinson hiked up Wales’ highest peak before delivering the names of 23 players determined to scale their own summit at Euro 2025. At 1,085 metres above sea level, climbing Yr Wyddfa in North Wales is not for the faint-hearted.

The Wales manager climbed Yr Wyddfa in North Wales ahead of announcing her 23-player squad for Euro 2025, completing the ascent in less than 90 minutes. Ms Wilkinson, who earned 181 caps for Canada and has Welsh heritage, said the climb was more than just a physical challenge.
