India's IndusInd Bank jumped as much as 5.4% on Tuesday after naming Rajiv Anand as CEO, a move that analysts say could pave the way for a turnaround after leadership turmoil amid accounting lapses. The stock was the top gainer on the Nifty Bank and Nifty Private Bank indexes,

Anand's tenure will begin on August 25, 2025, and conclude on August 24, 2028, the bank said in a regulatory filing.

Rajiv Anand, known for his long-term vision and steady leadership, has been appointed managing director and chief executive of IndusInd Bank, filling a post vacant since end-April after past accounting discrepancies triggered a trust crisis.
