Trump signed an executive order on Thursday that will expand the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition and bring back the Presidential Fitness Test in public schools.

One of the hallmarks of the test was the Presidential Fitness Award for top-performing students, a tradition that will return based on criteria the sports, fitness and nutrition council establishes, according to the White House.

Generations of Americans who struggled to complete a pull-up in front of their classmates winced as President Trump announced that he was reinstating the annual assessment.
