The Seattle Seahawks released tight end Noah Fant, the team announced Sunday. The Seahawks saved $8.91 million against the salary cap by releasing Fant after he was due a non-guaranteed salary of $8.49 million in 2025, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks announced that they had released veteran tight end Noah Fant. Just last March, the 27-year-old pass-catcher agreed to a two-year, $21 million extension. His $8.5 million base salary for this upcoming season is now off Seattle's books.

Tight end Noah Fant, who had 130 catches for 1,400 yards and 5 TDs in his three seasons with the Seahawks, has been released, saving almost $9M in cap space.
